Basket Storage Ideas...

If you're like me, you're always looking for creative ways to store things. One of the things I find myself doing a lot is using baskets to store things in, especially my craft supplies.

My workspace is small, so I like to "hide" as much away as I can, otherwise it's just a mess. On one wall, in my work room I have shelves and I use bread baskets to store things like glue sticks, markers, ink pads, rubber stamps, etc. These may not be the best basket for the shelf, but I found them on sale for $1 each. I can't pass up a good bargain.

While searching the internet and ran across quite a few others using baskets for storage. But the great thing about the ones I'm sharing with you is, they're all handmade.

Check out this Felted Basket on www.craftleftovers.com I think it's really cute and she has a link for a downloadable pattern for it.

Another cute basket idea I found was on www.sewmamasew.com there is also a free PDF file there to download the instructions so we all can make our own.

I think this is a really clever for magazine storage. It's not a basket, but it was too inventive to pass up. A magazine holder crafted from a cereal box. www.casasugar.com

Bette has a tutorial on her blog for making pantry baskets. These could easily be changed to store things in your craft room too. www.bettestomorrowstreasures.blogspot.com

All of these ideas prove that you don't need a lot of money to be creative in your storage. If you have any ideas, please leave us a comment and share what you have.
